As part of our dedication to optimizing our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), we are seeking a talented and experienced Manager for UKG Management Systems to join our team.


Position Overview:


We are looking for a skilled Manager to oversee the administration and optimization of our Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) software. Reporting into the VP of Finance, the successful candidate will collaborate with key team players within the company and be responsible for UKG implementation, data maintenance, training optimization, and support of our internal team to ensure the effective utilization of the system across the organization. This role must collaborate effectively with GDI’s IT team, which maintains overall responsibility for the UKG system support for the GDI group of companies.


Responsibilities:


  • Liaise and collaborate with key players within the company for administration, configuration and optimization of the UKG platform to meet organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies for leveraging UKG software to improve and streamline payroll and HR processes, along with the employee experience.
  • Consolidate feedback and facilitate system enhancements and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maximizing system capabilities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of training programs for HR, Payroll and Field Operations teams, to ensure proficiency in utilizing UKG software.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex system issues, troubleshoot problems, and optimize system performance.
  • Establish and maintain system governance, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with IT and other relevant departments to integrate UKG with other systems and applications, in order to optimize data flow.
  • Analyze system data and generate actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and updates related to UKG software, providing recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the UKG Management System team, promoting innovation, collaboration, and excellence in service delivery.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree level or higher in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in both English and French would be an asset.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years managing Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) software, including configuration, administration, and optimization.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of and best practices in payroll, time and attendance and HR processes, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop strategic insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, execution, and resource management.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Certification in UKG software or other relevant HRIS certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of system integrations and experience working with cross-functional teams preferred.
